Description
Details	Glucose 5% is a solution for infusion. This product is administered by intravenous infusion for the treatment of dehydration. It is used to replace water when it cannot be taken or retained orally. It can also be used to correct hypernatraemia (by replacing lost water) and to aid the correction of hyperkalaemia (through the promotion of insulin production which in turn causes potassium to move from plasma into cells).
